Umbraco India Festival · Backwater Cruise Edition
Umbraco India Hackathon × Kochi Water Metro
Community building, AI and backoffice package innovation, and a sunset cruise venue — hosted aboard a Kochi Water Metro boat in Kochi, Kerala.
Hackathon Elements
Everything that makes this a build-at-sunset cruise, not a conference session.
The Challenge
AI & backoffice packages — automate something cool, ship a prototype before docking. Stuck for an idea? Browse the official ideas repo.
The Toolkit
Starter kits, Post-its, Discord experts, HQ DevRel, and on-site scaffolding helpers.
The Vessel
Kochi Water Metro boat as your workspace — Wi-Fi checks, snacks, and backwater code.
The Showcase
Playful onboard show & tell — even rough POCs get a minute in the sunset light.
Need inspiration?
Hackathon Ideas Repo
Umbraco keeps a shared board of package ideas — pick one, claim it, or add your own.
Browse open issues for inspiration (strong AI / Automate angle welcome, other Umbraco ideas too). Filter by available, comment “I’m claiming this” with your team, then ship and demo. Have a better idea? Open an issue with the Propose a new idea template.
